Artist Booths

Booth layout:

  1. Each booth has approximately 24 sq. ft. of hanging space.
  2. Grids are 6 ft high, arranged 2 grids (4 ft) across.

What to Bring

  • Black cloth to cover the back of your grids (landscaping cloth is acceptable)
  • Tape or Blu-Tack to secure labels to your artwork
  • Binder clips to secure cloth
  • Grid hooks or S-hooks for hanging wall art
  • Gridwall card and print holders (if selling cards or matted works)
  • Shelves or grid hooks for 3D work, plus a secure method to affix work (the guild does not supply shelving)
  • Artist name, title, and price on the back of each artwork, in case front labels are moved or removed
  • Printed exhibit labels for all pieces prepared in advance
    • Printed labels can be obtained at our upcoming guild meeting or by contacting Brenda at creeksideart1@gmail.com
    • A PDF of the NGAG labels is also available on the Members Page of the website

Important Notes

  • The exhibit will be presented as one cohesive gallery
  • Please do not bring personal banners or signage
  • No wrapping or bags are required — the guild will provide wrapping paper and small plastic bags for small items (e.g., cards)
  • Business card holders (if using) must be securely attached to the grid

How Sales Will Work

During the Event

  • Volunteers will be stationed throughout the exhibit to assist visitors:
    • Carefully remove artwork from the grids once a purchase is made
    • Bring purchased pieces to the checkout (Square / cash table)
  • The check out team will use the NGAG Square Reader to process the sale. Artists will be charged a 5% fee to cover admin costs.
  • Artists should ensure all work is clearly labelled according to NGAG standards to support smooth and accurate sales.

After the Event

  • Following the exhibit, artists who have sold work will receive a list of sold items
  • Once all sales have been reconciled and tallied, payments will be sent by e-transfer minus the 5% fee. Our goal is to complete payments within 10 days of the event, whenever possible

This exhibit format allows artists to participate fully while also enjoying the event as visitors or volunteers, and helps create a welcoming, gallery-like experience for the public.

There is helpful information in the Show Information section Members only page of our website, if needed. We’re looking forward to a successful and enjoyable exhibit and sale for everyone. When you’re not on shift, feel free to take part in the plein air painting, enjoy a glass of wine, or simply stroll the winery grounds.
