The Froid’Art–Art in Ice event, held in Kemptville, truly encapsulated the enchanting essence of winter through an exceptional outdoor art exhibition. The installation of seven 300lb blocks of ice at Rotary Park, each containing a unique artwork by a member of the North Grenville Arts Guild, resulted in a mesmerizing display when illuminated from below. An additional captivating element of this event was the sponsorship of each piece by local businesses. As the culmination of this remarkable project, the plexiglass artworks were presented to the respective sponsors, serving as enduring tokens of appreciation. To add to the grandeur of the occasion, the event was hosted at the North Grenville public library on March 25th, providing a fitting atmosphere for the celebration of creativity and community.
